Presentation Style

Delivery will be highly practical - theory will only last 30 mins in every hour followed by 20 mins practical application then a break.

The intention is not to overload delegates with theory but give practical solutions and material to discuss with their teams.

Workshop concludes with a 2 hour team incident simulation & management exercise. Putting theory into practice.

Benefits

This workshop will help managers become aware of their accountability and responsibility for H&S.

Cutting out the jargon and simplify what the regulations and laws mean and why they are there to benefit your business. Introduce the relevant regulations associated with your industry and specialist area - most importantly - demonstrate what this means in practice / the steps required to make it happen.

The practical session includes a full process review and audit of the company's operations. Following HSE guidelines, delegates will review their policies, carry out a risk assessments, understand the requirements for PPE and competence based skills training to do the job.

Delegates will review and create method statements for the jobs they do. In addition the workshop will look at the risks and responsibilities when contracting out work to 3rd parties. Lastly it will identify the meaning and accountability of the company under  "Product Safety and Reliability" Regs.
