Building on the Day Skipper Practical experience we develop the skills, attitudes and habits needed to undertake longer passages.  

You will learn to skipper yachts in more demanding situations, applying advanced seamanship; chart work and electronic navigation techniques. Navigating and piloting night and day, in restricted waters and with limited visibility.

We will develop your boat handling skills under both power and sail and weather permitting undertake a longer / offshore coastal passage.

Group Size and Costs

Up to 5 students to 1 instructor per boat.  
Minimum Age: 18+unaccompanied - 16-17 accompanied by an adult.

COST: Upon Application:  



5 days and nights living onboard a yacht and partaking of the benefits of shore facilities and hospitality by mutual agreement and wallet size.


Course Content

Pre Course Requirements / experience:  You should have at least 15 days onboard, 2 days as skipper 300 logged nautical miles plus 8 night hours.  Knowledge of navigation to RYA Coastal Skipper / Yachtmaster Theory level.  Please let me know if you have any special dietary, medical conditions or need any support with learning materials.
